What is Plasma Energy?
Plasma is an energy state created by adding energy to a gas. Plasma energy replaces traditional laser energy such as C02 fraxel lasers by delivering a more precise and controlled thermal energy. Plasma energy is able to achieve better skin tightening and reduce fine lines and wrinkles whilst using less energy than a traditional laser. Plasma is not a laser and achieves much lower temperatures than laser and hence considered to be much safer.

What can J-Plasma treat?
J-Plasma can be used to resurface the skin of the face with amazing results. More specifically it can treat pigment irregularities, melasma, acne scars, sun spots, wrinkles and fine lines as well as age spots. The fantastic skin tightening effects of J-Plasma mean it can also be used to treat jowls and loose skin on the face. In fact it can be considered a cheaper and less invasive alternative to a surgical face lift. It is literally like pressing the RESET button and taking you back 10 years.
How is this treatment different from Plasma treatments offered by other clinics in the UK?
J-Plasma is very different to plasma treatments offered by other clinics in the UK. Plasma provided by other clinics in UK, uses an electrical charge to ionise atmospherics gases, namely oxygen, to emit plasma energy. This is on a much smaller scale than J-Plasma and results in excessive heating of the skin, as well as less precisely controlled energy dispersion. Although the Plasma Plexr is good for certain spot treatments such as upper eyelids, this technology cannot compete with J-Plasma, especially when it comes to full facial resurfacing. J-Plasma is considered the Rolls Royce of plasma devices and the results are such. J-Plasma is only available at Rejuvence Clinic.
