We are proud to have Dr Shihab Chowdhury as one of our in-house surgeons, specialising in paediatric circumcisions and minor surgical procedures. With 10 years of surgical experience, Shihab brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to our clinic.
Shihab has an impressive background, having worked in General and Colorectal Surgery at the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust and Bart’s Health NHS Trust.
In 2018, Shihab earned a distinction in Robotic Surgery from UCL while completing his post-graduate studies in Surgical and Interventional Sciences. His research has made significant contributions to understanding emergency hernia surgery complications, with a focus on microsurgery, surgical oncology, nanotechnology, and stem cell applications in surgery.
Before his current roles, Shihab trained in General, Colorectal, and Breast Surgery soon after his graduation.
